In addition to offering group retreats, Makara also offer private, customized dolphin expeditions in Hawaii year round.

If you find a particular retreat to be too short and would like to add more programs and activities, you can absolutely extend your stay through via the private retreat option!    Suppose you want to come at a different month, that can also be arranged!

 

On the other hand, if you are looking to have Makara host a private retreat for your Sangha, company or some other organization/company, we will work with you on the specifics.

Among some of the activities to consider when arranging for a private/customized retreat:

​

• rent a car or van (depending on how many people are involved)

• experience more swims with dolphins, whales, manta rays 

• night swims with Manta Rays  (incredible experience!)

• visit Goddess Pele at the volcanos during the day and enjoy dinner at a nearby restaurant

• drive ATVs through an enchanted forest in a sacred valley

• helicopter ride(s) over the lava flowing into the ocean

• boat right up to the lava flow (very early in the morning or at night)

• visit other sacred sites including UFO hotspots on the Big Island

• spend some time on some of the most incredibly beautiful private beaches in the world
